With each new month, Tula XII releases new products. This month might be one of my favorites because it’s all about books and reading! I love to read, and always have at least two weeks going at a time. It’s how I start and end my day. My mornings start with my Bible reading, which centers me for the day. In the evenings, I usually read for pleasure so I’m in my latest find in a novel of some kind. I also track what I’ve read and have a wish list of things I want to read.
All About Books
Let’s start with this cover! Embossed on the front are the words “Just One More Book.” I love the colorful spine. And you will love the feel of this one!
Inserts for Tracking
The Books Read Insert gives you a place to track what you’re reading. There’s a spot to record the title and author as well as when you start and finish reading. You can also rate the book, Then there’s a short section for any notes you want to add about it.
The Books to Read insert is going to be one of my favorites. It’s like a wish list (and there is a wish list insert that’s very similar). I like this one because you mark when you’ve read the book. The only difference in this and the wish list insert is the wish list has a column for when you own the book. I do a lot of my reading on my Kindle app and I find a lot of great reads on Kindle Unlimited so I don’t necessarily buy every book I read. That makes this one perfect for me!
The quotes insert just might be one of my favorites this month. How many times do you wish you could recall a quote from a book you’ve read? Now you can have all of those amazing quotes in one place!
Like to track what you’re reading with your progress? The Currently Reading Insert is for you! There’s even a box where you could add a picture of the book cover on the page (that’s my plan). Track how many pages you read, as well as jot down a few notes about it.
I read a lot of series. With a Kindle, it is a challenge to remember the order of the series. Now I can list all of the books in the series and be sure I’m reading them in the right order. Do you read many series?
I read every day. With the Reading Tracker insert, I can mark off each day that I read. I might also use this one to list the authors I’m reading and then color code it so each author has their own color and when I record that day’s reading, I’ll use the color coding to show which books I read that day.
There are other inserts to track by month and even select your favorite book of the year.
Make it Pretty!
I like my planner to have some color and decorations. The deco kit is one of my favorite accessories for adding some color, adding a few stickers, or even making a card to send to a friend who loves to read.
Of course, none of my planners are complete without the handy magnetic clips that allow me to easily keep my place! This one is so colorful too.
Now that I have my reading planner all set, I’ll grab my favorite tote and I’m ready to go spend the day reading somewhere. I might spend a couple of hours in the coffee shop, or maybe I’ll sit in the park for a bit. No matter, it’s easy to take it on the road with the tote!
May Book Club
In May, we are going a book club! The book we are reading is The 12 Week Year, by Brian Moran. If you set goals, either personally or professionally, this is one you want to read. So many times, we set goals for the entire year, we plan New Year’s Resolutions, and then we look at them in February and don’t feel like we accomplished much. Not so when you use this method!
I love planning 12 weeks at a time. I’m more focused and I get so much more done in my 12 weeks than I ever got done when I planned a year at a time!
If this sounds like something you’d like to do, you can still join us. We will be meeting weekly via Zoom and replays will be available for all registrants. You can still sign up, so register today! When you register, you will get my detailed reading plan and will receive links for all Zoom meetings. I hope to see you on the inside!
Check out my showcase for suggestions on things I’ll be using for our book club!
For now, happy reading! What are you reading this month?
